So…. Drones!

Its weird to think that just a couple of years ago, not a lot of people had ever heard of drones. The people who had heard them used them for professional use only. Now however times have changed, owning a drone has become a lot easier and also much cheaper.

So you might be wondering, “What is a drone?”

A drone is an unmanned Ariel vehicle which for most people is a hobby, but people also have a professional use for them.

There are certain types of drones available for purchase:

  • Small indoor drones
  • Race drones
  • Intermediate drones
  • Ariel photography drones
  • DIY drones

Personally I believe the best drones are the DIY drones. This is because you get a much better understanding of how your drone will work. So then if something were to go wrong, you would know exactly what to do.

However I would personally recommend an intermediate drone to anyone who is looking to start droning as a hobby. You can get the same punch as other drones whilst being protected by very clever computer chips powering the drone. Hence allowing you to have fun without crashing.  Most of these drones also have a built in gimbal and camera. Which is capable of streaming directly to your phone or tablet. Drones like the  DJI phantom 4 series provide extreme safety whilst allowing for a fun experience.

For anyone wanting to go into Ariel photography I would strongly suggest something like a DJI phantom 4 pro. Whilst being small and lightweight it also very affordable.

Having only recently released there ‘Inspire 2’ series, it has shown to be a real hit for its consumers with double the battery life and hence a much longer flight time. Because these sorts of drones are used for big film shoots it packs in a lot of punch and speed.

RaImage result for race dronescing drones are a real thrill to own and fly, these sorts of drones are designed for the real thrill seeker who has a certain level of experience flying drones. Race drones can fly up to and well over 75 km/h , pair this with an FPV (first person view) camera and goggles and you are bound to have the time of your life flying them. These little drones can also                                                    manage 360 flips and incredible tricks to amaze you and                                                            your  friends.
